I started working in residential clinics over 6 years ago. My professional journey started as a volunteer to support individuals with addiction issues and who require detoxification in residential clinics. My experience ranges from support work, recovery interventions, detoxification, to treatment management.
I have also worked with complex alcohol and drug addictions in the community, focusing on individuals’ path to recovery.
“The passion and purpose to working with addiction came from my own experience of feeling hopeless and lost in addiction and finding myself in rehab at the age of 28, through support given to me and my recovery I wanted to share this with others to find a better way to live without substances.”
Working at The Lighthouse has been an absolute privilege and amazing opportunity. The excellent treatment program and dedication of each member of the team is like no other. I enjoy working at the lighthouse to witness clients rebuilding a relationship with themselves and loved ones through a process of close support and experience from the staff. Since becoming registered manager in 2023 I am dedicated to continuing to maintain our excellent reputation and work closely on compliance and governance to ensure each client receives the support and encouragement they need.
In my personal time I enjoy working out at the gym and walks in the countryside. I enjoy time with my family and friends making memories.
I live a life that is central to maintaining recovery I’m a member of Narcotic Anonymous, and take pride and purpose in empowering others in recovery.
