My educational journey began with an Access to Social Work course, laying the foundation for my commitment to societal betterment. I furthered my academic pursuits with a degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology, equipping me with the analytical tools to understand complex social structures.
Recognising the critical role of human resources in organisational success, I completed a Master’s in HR Management and a Level 7 CIPD Diploma. My leadership skills were honed at Ashridge Business School, where I participated in an intensive leadership course.
My academic achievements also extend to the field of criminology. I attended the prestigious University of Cambridge, where I earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Criminology and Penology Management. Currently, I am co-authoring a chapter on prisoner leadership with Manchester University, reflecting my keen interest in aiding those affected by addictions or the criminal justice system.
Professionally, I have chosen to lend my HR expertise to small and medium-sized businesses, focusing on those in dire need of strategic human resource management.
My tenure at the Lighthouse has been particularly rewarding. The organisation’s commitment to tackling complex people issues and its passion for recovery resonate deeply with me, making me equally passionate about contributing to their mission.
Outside of my professional and academic endeavours, I am a connoisseur of fine dining and theatre. I am an avid traveller, enjoy spiritual retreats and derive immense satisfaction from helping people in any way I can.
